In Northern Italy, lies the tradition of St. Lucia, which to Italians is the day of gift giving and the celebration of light itself. In ancient times, villagers would walk the streets with candles in a glass bowl to reflect the light of their beloved Saint on December 13th, the longest night of the year. This beautiful chandelier is inspired by that very act and instead goes further providing perfect luminance all year round.
